“Fracture and Fatigue of Rubber†- 23 March in London
London -Â The UK's Rubber in Engineering Group is to hold a technical discussion meeting on Fracture and Fatigue of Rubber. The event will take place on Friday 23rd March 2007 from 2.00pm at The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining, 1 Carlton House Terrace, London, SW1Y 5DB.
Currently four speakers are booked: “Fracture and Fatigue of Rubber: an overview†Vince Coveney, University of the West of England, Bristol
“High Speed Fracture of Balloons†Alan Thomas* (Queen Mary, University of London) & Graham Lake (University of East London)
“Aspects of Cyclic Fatigue of Natural Rubber†John Kingston* and Alan Muhr (both TARRC)
“Fatigue Life Analysis of an Exhaust Mount using Hyperfatigue†Roly Whear* (Jaguar Cars) and Will Mars (Cooper Tyres)
These talks are all followed by discussion and tea will be served at 4pm.
Attendance at the meeting is free of charge for members of the IOM3, however a small nominal charge (less than £20) may be made on the day to non-members.
