Farrel Corp to go private today
Ansonia, Connecticut - Shareholders of Farrel Corp yesterday voted in favour of a management-led bid to take the company into private ownership. It is expected that the merger will be completed today, Friday, 23 Feb, 2007, at which time Farrel common stock will cease trading.
The bid was supported by an un-named private equity house, and shareholders wil receive $2.75 per share, valuing the company at around $17 million.
