Lanxess names López-Remón as head of Rubber Chemicals business
Leverkusen, Germany - Lanxess' chemicals group has appointed a new head of its rubber chemicals business: Spanish-born Luis López-Remón will take charge of the Rubber Chemicals business unit effective 1 March, 2007. His previous function was as head of the Textile Processing Chemicals business unit, which Lanxess successfully divested at the end of 2006.
López-Remón succeeds Rainer van Roessel, who was appointed to the Lanxess Management Board effective 1 January, 2007. Dr. van Roessel will continue to hold the positions of managing director of Lanxess NV and country representative for Belgium.
