Amtel-Vredestein to issue Euro bonds
Enschede, The Netherlands - Amtel-Vredestein NV said it intends to issue an unspecified amount of euro-denominated Eurobonds.
The company expects to release further details about this transaction shortly, but A-V expects to launch the issue in the second quarter of 2007, market conditions permitting. Proceeds from the Eurobond are expected to be used to refinance existing borrowings.
The company has retained Nomura International plc to manage the sale of the unsecured debt, which will have a final maturity of three years and carry a fixed rate of interest.
