Rapra celebrates a year since the buyout

Shawbury, Shropshire - it is now a year since Smithers Scientific acquired Rapra Technology Ltd. Rapra said it is now fully integrated into The Smithers Group, which comprises four other operating businesses in areas from tyre and rubber products testing to pharmaceutical and environmental analysis.

“The Smithers Rapra team has undertaken a thorough review of our UK businesses and has set our strategy going forward” says Smithers Group President and CEO Michael Hochschwender. “The information businesses are continuing to grow, building upon their strong performance.”
