UBS becomes largest shareholder in Continental AG
Hannover, Germany -Â The Swiss bank, UBS is now the largest shareholder in Contental AG, with 5.74 of the issued shares. The company lifted its stake from 3.45 percent on 17 April. Capital group is next with 5.1 percent, followed by Barclays Group with 4.5 percent. 82.14 percent of the shares are held by smaller shareholders.
German stock market rules require companies to formally say when a shareholder's purchase takes that shareholder above a pre-determined stake, such as 3 percent, 5 percent, or 10 percent
