Desma picks Schürmann as executive director

Achim, Germany - Desma, the parent of Klöckner Desma Elastomertechnik GmbH, has appointed Martin Schürmann to be exectutive director, working alongside Dr. Bernd Scholz.

Since 1 April, Scholz has been responsible for engineering and production, including R&D, and quality, while Schürmann is handling sales and administration of Desma including marketing, and parts and service.

Schürmann has worked within the Klöckner organisation for the last 18 years and is familiar with capital equipment. Martin previously served as the Managing Director of KHS (Klöckner's filling technology division) in South Africa, using his engineering background.
