Report studies US hose market; both rubber and plastic
Washington, DC -Â A new report covering the US markets for rubber and plastic hose has been published by Supplier Relations LLC of the US.
The report focusses on subsectors of the NAICS industrial classification series, based on 326 (Plastics and Rubber Products Manufacturing) and drilling down to 326220 - Rubber and Plastics Hoses and Belting Manufacturing, in addition to the SIC classification 3052 - Rubber and Plastics Hose and Belting.
In the report summary, the authors say, "The industry's revenue for the year 2006 was approximately $4,640 million. The gross profit was 24 percent, at $1117, million. There were 291 establishments in this industry that year. Thus, average contribution (or revenue) per establishment annually was $15.9 million".
it continues, "The U.S. manufacturing sector is expected to hit the monumental 5 trillion dollars net sales in 2006. U.S. economists have projected another 5% to 7% growth in the year 2007."
