US tyre cord output was $1422 million in 2006
Dublin, Ireland - Another report based on US trade statistics lists the value of production, imports and exports of tyre cord from the US.
The 136-page report is available for around €900 depending on delivery option and was prepared by Supplier Relations LLC. The report relies heavily on US trade statistics in the NAICS category (314992 - Tire Cord and Tire Fabric Mills) and SIC classification (2296 - Tire Cord and Fabrics).
The report says, "The industrys revenue for the year 2006 was approximately $1180 million. The gross profit was 10.43 percent at $123 million. There were 29 establishments in this industry that year. Thus, average contribution (or revenue) per establishment annually was $40.8 million." It goes on to list similar data for imports and exports.
