New Delhi -Â Continental AG's Automotive Systems Division is setting up a technical centre in Bangalore, India.
Initially, said Conti, two independent engineering facilities have been established with local partners in Bangalore. About 60 engineers are working in Bangalore for Continental Automotive Systems today. It is planned to reach a capacity of more than 200 engineers in 2008, so Continental will be hiring intensively in the next few months.
Last year the company set up a liaison office in Gurgaon, near the capital New Delhi.

We also have to support our global customer base in their growth plans for Indiaâ€, said Dr. Karl-Thomas Neumann, President Continental Automotive Systems and Member of the Executive Board of Continental AG. "We have the right products and systems in the field of active and passive vehicle safety as well as driving dynamics and comfort".
