Chinese-made fluoroelastomers available in Europe
Chenguang, China -Â Chenguang Research Institute of Chemical Industry (CRICI) in Sichuan province is making fluoroelastomers for export. Roy Jurriens, based in Brussels is acting as export agent.
Victoria Wu CRICI's International Business manager said, "We are already exporting 40 percent of our capacity to both the USA and Europe. We are planning to expand our capacity to over 4000 metric tonnes per year in a couple of years, of which 50 percent will be dedicated to export."
The company said it is evaluating its sales structure in Europe with the aim of creating a permanent base to serve existing and potential customers. The company wants to sell to multinational companiesas well as independent compounders. CRICI said it sells both gumstocks and precompounds.
