Safic upgrades China service with acquisition

Paris - Safic-Alcan has bought the pharmaceutical ditribution company, Bim Sifram Group (BSG). BSG's main activity is the distribution of chemical specialities of Chinese origin.

While BSG is not directly relevant to the rubber industry, Safic said the acquisition will allow it to develop its outsourcing in China for the rubber, paint and adhesives market.
