Bridgestone in Tokyo management re-shuffle
Tokyo -Â Bridgestone Corp. has announced a re-shuffle of responsibilities among its senior corporate management in Japan. The following changes will be effective, from 1 July.
Akira Nozawaloses the role of director of the finance division, but retains the position of vice president and officer, chief financial officer, finance and IT & network.
Hideo Hara
loses the role of head of motorsport, but keeps the title, vice president and officer, original equipment tyre sales
Hideki Yokoyama takes on responsibility for quality throughout the organisation, as vice president and officer, quality. This is a new post, in which quality has been split off from safety and environment. His current role is vice president and officer, product planning and business development.
Hiroshi Yamaguchi takes on responsibility for motorsport, but loses responsibility for quality. His new position will be vice president and officer, safety and environment and motorsport.
Mikio Masunaga retains his position of vice president and officer, tire research and material development, but loses responsibility for the company's research centres.
