Columbus, Ohio - Hagglunds Drives has opened a Canadian service and sales facility in Edmonton, Alberta.
This facility is one of two recently built in Canada to accommodate business growth within Hagglunds North American Division, the firm said. During the last year, Hagglunds expanded considerably in its building and construction market.
The new plant will serve as a regional sales office for the Midwestern sales region, as well as a field service and repair location for local customers within the Alberta and Saskatchewan area.
Hagglunds drive systems are used in the paper and pulp, marine and offshore, rubber and plastic, building and construction, recycling, mining, sugar, steel, cement and chemical industries.
