Freudenberg-NOK retains AT&T to provide VPN-based comms support
Northfield, New Hampshire - Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership has signed a three-year cntract with global communications supplier, AT&T. FNGP will use AT&T's virtual private network (VPN) to deliver secure, unified communications among 32 Freudenberg-NOK locations in the US and 12 locations in Canada, Brazil, Malaysia and Mexico.
"We issued a competitive proposal for the management of our global network, and we were pleased that once again AT&T presented us with the most comprehensive and cost-effective solution," said George Molchan, chief information officer for Freudenberg-NOK. "We look forward to building on our relationship with AT&T over the next three years."
Freudenberg-NOK is the Americas joint venture partnership between Freudenberg & Co. in Germany and NOK Corporation in Japan. Freudenberg-NOK says it integrates Japanese, German and American technology to serve customers with globally interchangeable products as part of the global Freudenberg and NOK Group.
