Report studies market for solvent-based rubber cement in China
Dublin, Ireland - It is rare to find a report that purports to give data on the demand for solvent-based rubber cements dipping into obscure economic philosophies, but that is what is being offered by the ICON group. This report appears to spend a great deal of time and effort explaining the concept of latent demand.
Put simply, latent demand is the demand that might be there, if many other factors came into play. The report's authors say, intriguingly, "The latent demand for solvent-type rubber cement for sale in Greater China is not actual or historic sales. Nor is latent demand future sales. In fact, latent demand can be either lower or higher than actual sales if a market is inefficient (i.e., not representative of relatively competitive levels).
The 139-page report, titled "The 2007-2012 Outlook for Solvent-Type Rubber Cement for Sale in Greater China, " was first published in September 2006 by Icon group. It is available for €530 from Research & Markets.
