Qingdao rubber show to open on 1 April
ERJ staff report (DS)
Qingdao, China -- The fifth China International Rubber & Tyre Industry Exhibition (RTF) will open its doors on 1 April 2008. The organisers expect the show area to reach 8000 m², including 200 exhibitors from more than 40 countries.
This is the fifth show in the RTF series, which began in 2004. The last RTF show, in 2007, attracted more than 130 exhibitors and 5990 foreign and domestic visitors.
New for 2008 is a whole-industry supply chain, with exhibitors ranging from materials and machinery suppliers to tyre makers and general rubber goods manufacturers.
The exhibition was originally scheduled for 3 April - 5 April, but on 18 December the Chinese government declared 4 April to 6 April a national holiday to mark Chinese tomb-sweeping day. The dates have been changed to 1 April to 3 April.
