Bridgestone raises tyre prices in China
ERJ staff report (DS)
Shanghai, China -- Bridgestone (China) Investment Co., Ltd. is increasing prices on Bridgestone-brand tyres in China by seven to ten percent from August 2008.
The company released the information in a Chinese-language document, saying this is the second increase this year. The company raised prices in March, but that had not been enough to compensate for the increase in raw materials prices.
