RIEG to hold seminar on rubber recycling

London -- The UK-based the Rubber in Engineering Group is holding an afternoon technical discussion meeting on the Recycling of Rubber on Friday 12th December 2008 at IOM3 headquarters in London.
Papers include
- Optimisation of formulations using rubber crumb by Martyn Bennett of ARTIS.
- Some novel methods of depolymerisation by David Brown of Watson Brown HSM.
- The manufacture of activated carbon for filtration of flue gas from tyres by Andy Dean of PERA.
The RIEG says, "This event is suitable for those involved in designing rubber formulations and involved in the manufacture of rubber articles. It will also be of value to those who specify, design and use rubber articles."
The programme is subject to change. Attendance at the meeting is free of charge for members of the IOM3, however a small nominal charge (of about £20) may be made on the day to non-members.
