Eliokem increases capacity of its Wingstay L antioxidant

Villejust, France - Major chemical speciality company Eliokem is to increase capacity and improve the quality of its Wingstay L antioxidant, thereby opening up new applications for the product, the company said 19 Nov.

The company will increase capacity to process increasing orders and meet fast growing demand in China and Asia, Eliokem said.

“In order to demonstrate its commitment, Eliokem set new specifications for Wingstay L ex Ningbo with stringent limits on the content of residuals and the colour of the material,” said Eliokem ceo Jacques Collonge.

These improvements in quality, the company said, may open up new applications such as the stabilization of white polymers.

Wingstay L, manufactured at the company's production facility in Ningbo, China, is used in the protection of elastic threads and medical gloves as well as contributing to the stabilization of natural and synthetic polymers based on isoprene and butadiene like ABS.
