St Helens, UK - NSG Group subsidiary NGF Europe has been recognised at the recent Annual Glass Industry Health & Safety Conference for “tremendous improvements in health & safety,†the company said.
The company has improved in a number of areas including encouraging its 220 employees to take a proactive role in accident prevention using a computer-based incident reporting system and a series of training workshops.
“Safety is out top priority and to be awarded for our efforts emphasises individual commitment and the tremendous moves to keep people safe, “ said managing director Brian Kelly.
NGF, who manufactures and supplies rubber impregnated glass cord and other specialised glass-related products, operates in markets including transmission belts and tyres for the automotive industry.
