Survey forecasts global tyre demand to 2014

Dublin, Ireland -- Aroq has published a new report titled, Global market review of automotive tyres - forecasts to 2014 . The 85-page report was first published in July 2008 and is available for a price of around Euro 1400, depending on delivery options.

The publishers say, "It is estimated that the global tyre market for passenger cars, light-, medium- and heavy-duty truck applications accounted for nearly 1.29bn tyres sold in 2007, of which 948m (73%) were replacement tyres. his fifth edition of just-auto's automotive tyres report reviews these emerging trends, and offers exclusive Q&A interviews with senior executives of Bridgestone, Continental and Goodyear, profiles of the major manufacturers, and review of the latest technical developments, and forecasts through to 2014."
