Algol to cease distribution of PolymerLatex products

marl, Germany -- PolymerLatex has said it is ending its relationship with Algol Chemicals, which distributes Polymerlatex products in the Baltic region and other parts of northern Europe.

The company said, "At PolymerLatex, we see direct relationships to our most important customers as key factor of success. This can be realised best via direct contacts of PolymerLatex own technical and sales personnel."

Customers directly informed by PolymerLatex GmbH shall continue to order with Algol until 31.12.2008 as we prepare for a smooth transition starting 01.01.2009.

On its website, Algol says, "Algol Chemicals offers a wide range of chemicals for industry in Finland, Scandinavia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia and Ukraine. Algol has the leading position in the distribution of industrial chemicals in Finland."
