Consultancy claims India's chemical sector is REACH-ready

New Delhi, India -- Dynamic Orbits Advisory Pvt. Ltd., a Delhi-based chemical consultancy has said Indian chemical export companies have largely secured pre-registration of their products under Europe's REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of CHemicals) legislation.

In a press release, the company said, "Indian chemical exports to EU market are currently valued at around Rs27 000 million (Euro 410 million) up from Rs23 000 million in 2006 - 2007."

Dynamic Orbits noted that a fraction of small & medium exporters missed out the 1 December deadline due to lack of knowledge, awareness & accessibility.
