NR prices jump 50 percent in a month

Tokyo -- Prices of natural rubber in Tokyo have been rising steadily over the holiday season, closing at over Yen150 ($1.61) / kg, with longer-dated contracts priced higher.
In Singapore, prices followed a similar trend, with RSS3 closing at around $1.60/kg, up from just $1.02 on 12 December.
The Shanghai Futures Exchange will reportedly suspend trading in rubber on Wednesday following the sustained price rises.
