New SNCP president is Hutchinson's director of strategy

Paris -- Thierry du Granrut has become the new president of the French rubber association, the SNCP (Syndicat national du caoutchouc et des polymères), since 1 January. He also becomes vice-president of the Elastopole initiative sponsored by the SNCP, which aims to improve the competitiveness of the French rubber and polymer industry.
Du Granrut, 50, is currently director of strategy at Hutschinson SA, the largest French maker of industrial rubber goods. He succeeds Patrick Rouyrre.
