Junio to replace Zekowski as head of Goodyear's Lux tech centre

Luxembourg -- Marc Junio, former General Director of the Goodyear R&D Technical Center in the United States, has recently been named General Director of the company's Luxembourg Technical Center (GTC*L) in Colmar-Berg. Junio, a native Luxembourg citizen aged 56, holds a Masters degree in Chemistry from the University of Karlsruhe, Germany.
Junio succeeds Joe Zekoski, Vice President Global Product Development & Technical Center Operations, who will be taking on a new role in Akron, Ohio.
The Technical Center in Colmar-Berg is the largest R&D centre of Goodyear in Europe and the second worldwide after the head offices in Akron. With more than 900 scientists, GTC*L performs research, development and testing of passenger, truck and farm tires for the European, the Middle East and African and the Asian markets.
