Daetwyler uses new extrusion line for seals
ERJ staff report (RD)
Schattdorf, Switzerland - Daetwyler Rubber, specialist in rubber technology, is operating a new high-productivity LCM extrusion line to supply seals to its customers, the company said 22 Jan.
Daetwyler, who supply seals to the construction and civil engineering sectors, replaced its extrusion line because of “the expanding building-construction business and the takeover of contracts from Daetwyler Rubber France,†the company added.
Daetwyler claim that the salt-bath machine, which consists of a 105-mm vacuum extruder with gear-type pump, salt bath with integrated salt spraying, hot-air chambers, as well as hot-water washing with cooling chamber, will reduce production cost and improve performance.
