Nizhnekamskneftekhim increased rubber production in 2008

Nizhnekamsk, Tartarstan -- Nizhnekamskneftekhim said it is the only company of belonging to the 10-member Association “Sintezkauchuk”, to make more rubber in 2008 than in 2007.

In January-December 2008, Nizhnekamskneftekhim made12.2 percent more rubber than in 2007, whereas the Sintezkauchuk grouping saw volumes fall to 96.7 percent of 2007 levels.

At Nizhnekamskneftekhim output of synthetic isoprene rubber was up by 6.3 percent; butyl by 10.9 percent, and polybutadiene by 34.5 percent.
