Titan names manufacturing vp, operations manager

Quincy, Illinois -- Titan International Inc.'s Titan Tire Corp. subsidiary has announced two promotions at its Des Moines, Iowa, factory.
Jeff Kramer has been named vice president of manufacturing engineering at the manufacturing plant, where he has been operations manager for six years. He has been with Titan for 13 years and has held positions in tyre engineering, curing area management and production management. In his new post, Titan said Kramer will oversee manufacturing engineering projects at all Titan Tire locations. He holds a bachelor's degree from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.
“In his new role, Jeff will lead Titan as we continue to grow and incorporate new ideas into our engineering processes,†said Bill Campbell, Titan Tire Corp. president.
Titan also promoted Dave Fines to operations manager at the Des Moines plant. He will relocate from Titan's Brownsville, Texas, facility, where he has served since 1998, most recently as operations manager. Mr. Fines also has held positions as a supervisor and manufacturing manager with the company.
At Des Moines, he will be responsible for the manufacturing, engineering and support activities within the plant. He has a bachelor's degree from Drake University in Des Moines.
