Hilton Head, South Carolina -- Clemson University will hold its 25th annual Tire Industry Conference April 1-3 in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
As always, the three-day conference will cover political, regulatory, financial and technical issues of interest to tyre manufacturers. Speeches will include the overview by Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) President Charles Cannon of the legislative and regulatory agendas of the 111th Congress and the Obama administration; Kevin Rohlwing, senior vice president of training at the Tire Industry Association, on the future of tyre retailing; and Dick Wilkerson, chairman and president of Michelin North America Inc., on building long-term profitability for the North American manufacturing industry.
