Canadian RAC to sponsor 3rd ground rubber recycling conference

Buffalo, new York -- The US-based Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) is joining with the Rubber Association of Canada, the Clemson University Asphalt Rubber Technology Service and Empire State Development to sponsor “Scrap to Profit 3: Using Ground Rubber in Rubber and Plastic Products,†June 3-4 in Buffalo.
“Learn, Network, Share and Promote†will be the theme of the two-day conference, according to the RMA. Among the topics to be covered at the meeting include addressing health impact concerns, marketing to mass merchandisers, quality assurance for rubber mulch, market issues and ASTM standards for playground cover, market issues and standards for infill material and compounding recycled rubber.
