Polimeri Europa selects US distributor

Houston, Texas - Polimeri Europa, the petrochemical company owned by Eni SpA, has selected chemical marketing firm The Plaza Group as its North American distributor for elastomers, styrenics, polyolefins and other immediates, Plaza announced 20 Feb.

The company said Polimeri's products will complement its well-established product portfolio of benzene, acetone, methanol and select intermediates and solvents.

"We believe The Plaza Group will provide our customers with the same quality of service and personal attention as Polimeri Europa," said Luigi Guella, Polimeri Europa commercial director. "We will work diligently with The Plaza Group to make the transition as smooth as possible."

Through the partnership, The Plaza Group will have access to Polimeri Europa's technical service and research support, as well as the product and commercial expertise of Polimeri Europa's personnel.
