ERJ staff report (DS)
Rovereto, Italy -- Marangoni has sold its first Ringbuilder 3000 to a European customer. The Ringbuilder was introduced two years ago by Marangoni Retreading Systems, aimed at the US market. It is designed for large retreaders, as it is able to produce at least 200 retreads per 8-hour shift, while at the same time occupying a small space.
The first retreader in Europe to adopt this technology is Reifen Müller GmbH, operating in the German market since 1966 and one of the major precured retreaders in Europe. Uwe Müller, the owner of the company, stated: “After having tested the efficiency of the Ringtread product for several years, by purchasing this machine we will be able to boost the production of the premium line. I am convinced, in fact, that the new machine will bring a considerable increase in the efficiency, performance and quality of the cold retreading processâ€.
