Amsterdam, Netherlands - Amtel-Vredestein has scheduled an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders for 12 March in Amsterdam.
Shareholders will hear a report on the company's most recent accounts, with particular emphasis on A-V's ability - or otherwise - to meet the demands of creditors. Management will also update shareholders on recent developments at the financially-troubled company.
The board is also seeking permission to absolve themselves of personal liability for those debts.
