Rhein Chemie to open dispersions unit in Russia

Moscow -- Rhein-Chemie has said it intends to set up near the city of Nizhny Novgorod, east of Moscow, a production facility that will produce polymerbound additives and release agents for the rubber processing and tyre industry as of mid-2010.
The announcement was made to coincide with the opening of the Tires & Rubber 2009, show in Moscow. The show runs from 10th to 13th March at the Expocentr' Krasnaya Presnya, Moscow.
Lanxess also said it has officially opened its sales company in Moscow to manage the company's business in Russia and other countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). OOO Lanxess' office will be located in The Federation Tower and will primarily be marketing high-performance rubber, chemical and plastic products.
"The new office in Moscow and the branch just opened in Kiev should put us in an excellent position to serve the growing market in the CIS," commented Georges Barbey, General Director of OOO Lanxess.
