Kuala Lumpur - Tan Sri Megat Zaharuddin Megat Mohd Nor has been appointed as the new chairman of the Malaysian Rubber Board, effective 16 Feb 2009.
Zaharuddin has over 35 years of experience in the international oil, gas and chemical business. Previous positions include chief executive and general manager of Shell Turkey, chairman and chief executive of Shell Malaysia Ltd, and chairman of Malaysia's National Science Centre.
Former chairman, Datu Dr Micheal Dosim Lunjew, retired 31 Dec 2008.
