Kumho Tire temporarily idles all South Korean plants

Seoul, South Korea - Kumho Tire has idled production at its three plants in Gwangiu, Cry, P'yong'taek, South Korea for 5 days, the company has announced in a regulatory filing.
The plants will be closed from today, 12 March - 16 March 2009.
Kumho estimates the cost of shutdown as 1.6 trillion won (Euro 8400 million).
