Sarlink doubles global capacity
Geleen, Netherlands -- Sarlink has doubled its global capacity for its thermoplastic vulcanisate (TPV) material. Earlier this year the company brought on -stream a new, fully automated factory at its Genk manufacturing site, which more than doubled its total global capacity, said Dave Huizing, president of Sarlink.
Huizing declined to give details on overall capacity either before or after the expansion, but said that the business has been growing at around 15 percent annually, compared with a sector growth rate closer to 10 percent. He added that the company has been limited on capacity since 2007 and the new investment would allow the company to continue to expand for years to come.
