Just Rollers wins Queen's Award for Enterprise

Cwmbran, Wales -- Cwmbran based Just Rollers plc has been awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise; International Trade - the most prestigious corporate accolade that a UK business can win.
Established in 1971 as Just Rubber Components Ltd, the company changed its name to Just Rollers plc following a management buy-out in 2001. It has since continued with the same team of employees, to become a world leader in the manufacture of rubber compound and rubber and polyurethane covered rollers, with exports to more than 50 countries.
The company employs 73 staff and a turnover of £5.6 million. Over half of the current production is now exported with Russia, France, Germany, Netherlands and China accounting for over 30 percent of sales. There has been a 56 percent increase in exports since 2006 following investment in agents and trade shows; this has resulted in over £1m of additional exports during 2008.
