Tokyo -- Toyo Tire has said revised downwards its sales and profits estimates for the 12 months ended March 31, 2009.
The company sales would be slightly lower than previously forecast, at yen 328 000 million (euro 2567 million) compared with its previous forecast of yen 332 000 million.
The company said its operating loss was likely to be yen 3000 million, rather than the 2000 million previously estimated, while the net loss would be yen 10 800 million, rather than yen 12 700 million it had previously expected.
