Tokyo -- Bridgestone Corporation said it has launched its newly updated and refreshed corporate global website
Even with a fast internet connection, the site takes a long time to open, due to the large, apparently meaningless flash animation. There is a small option (top right) to switch off the animation and revert to a low-bandwidth site.
The site requires both the latest version of flash and java plug-ins.
