Arburg to present inject moulding unit at IRC 2009

Lossburg, Germany - Arburg, a German manufacturer of multi-component injection moulding technology, will present an automation solution at the IRC 2009 conference in Nuremberg, Germany, 29 June - 2 July 2009, the company said recently.

Airburg said the solution will be “built around an energy-efficient electric Allrounder 470 A with two horizontally-mounted injection units in an L configuration.” A vertical Multilift V robotic system will also be presented.

“The IRC offers the ideal platform for entering into direct contact with rubber producers,” said Eberhard Lutz, Arburg area sales manager Germany. “With our two-component Allrounder 470 A, we will be presenting a machine that is able to process elastomer and thermoplastic with a high degree of automation,” he added.
