Goodyear says it new HQ in Akron is moving forward

Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear said it has sold some properties in Akron, which forms a first step toward finalising plans for developing a new headquarters in Akron. The deal means Goodyear sold some key properties to Industrial Realty Group (IRG) and has agreed to lease them back from the property company. Goodyear will remain in its existing buildings until its new headquarters located adjacent to the company's existing Akron Technical Center is completed.
