Dow raising prices on SB-latex products

Horgen, Switzerland -- Dow Emulsion Polymers said it is increasing prices on all styrene butadiene and styrene acrylate latex technologies into the paper & paperboard, carpet and performance latex industries by 120 Euro/MT (dry) in Europe, India, Middle East and Africa.

The price increase is effective from 1 August, or as contracts allow, and is in addition to previously announced actions. Dow said the increase is critical to help to offset the rising costs of transportation, energy, and the raw materials needed to produce its products.
