London -- ContiTech Beattie Ltd, which makes industrial hoses and hose assemblies, has been named as a finalist in the Manufacturing Excellence awards. These awards are run by the UK-based Institution of Mechanical Engineers and are open to all UK-based manufacturing companies.
The finalists presented to the judging panel in London on 3 and 4 June. The winners will be announced on 25 June.
ContiTech Beattie is a fully owned subsidiary of ContiTech AG, a division of Continental AG. The company operates within ContiTech's Oil and Marine segment, and is a sister company to Dunlop Oil & Marine. other companies in the busines unit include ContiTech Beattie Inc. in Houston, Texas, ContiTech Rubber Industries Limited in Szeged, Hungary, and Eddelbuttel and Schneider in Hamburg, Germany. In addition, ContiTech Beattie Limited has a joint venture subsidiary, Beattie Industrial, a service company based in St John's , Newfoundland.
