MUNICH, Germany (July 6, 2009)-Wacker A.G. has restructured distribution of its silicone elastomers business in Turkey, giving another product line to Istanbul-based SolPro Ltd. Sti.
SolPro previously had sold Wacker's solid silicone rubbers in the region but now also will distribute the Elastosil M brand of RTV-2 silicones. SolPro takes over distribution of that product from Ultrakim A.S.
The RTV-2 silicones are cold-curing, two-component silicones used in mold making, rapid prototyping and such products as fireproof cables, seals, profiles and O-rings.
