Essen, Germany -- Evonik Industries is increasing prices for carbon black pigments by up to 9 percent depending on the product. The price increase will be effective for all deliveries on or after 1 August, 2009.
Evonik claims to be the world's second largest producer of carbon black pigments (furnace carbon black, lamp black, and gas black).
