TOKYO (July 10, 2009) - Bridgestone Corp. plans to begin construction in July on a Thailand facility that will be used in the production of precure tread for retread tyres, the company announced.
Bridgestone said the production base will help increase sales of its retread products and also develop its solutions business in Japan, Asia and China.
Production at the new facility is expected to begin by November 2010.
