DKG names Jürgen Gunther as chairman

Frankfurt Germany -- The Deutsche Kautschuk Gesellschaft (DKG - the German Rubber Society) has named Juergen Gunther (52) as chairman. He succeeds Thomas Barth of Freudenberg New Technologies KG.
Gunther, currently head of Global Marketing in Lanxess' Technical Rubber Products business unit, will hold the post for three years until the next IRC/DKT scheduled for Nuremberg in July 2012.
The DKG is an association of more than 1,000 individuals and companies whose common goal is to encourage research and development in elastomers and disseminate knowledge in this field.
